Please Check, Clean, and Dry your boat
There are important steps we can all take to help stop the spread of harmful Invasive Non Native Species (INNS). If you follow our simple Check, Clean and Dry procedure below, you’ll be making big steps forward in protecting the natural habitats of our rivers, canals and waterways. Regardless of the type of water -based activities you do, whether competitive or recreational, inland or coastal, the chances are that you take your boats onto different watercourses where there is a chance you may come in contact with these harmful species.
BEFORE entering the National Water Sports Centre, please ensure you have cleaned your boat by:
• Checking you’re not carrying living organisms
• Cleaning all equipment, clothing, and boots
• Drying equipment and clothing carefully
When LEAVING the National Water Sports Centre, please repeat the above process.
